We`re all happy for him, and I think he`s probably happy he`s playing well when so many people talked so poorly about him last year. Now he`s able to do the things he`s doing.
My shoulder`s just a little bit tired, ... Mentally, I don`t think it`s tired, and I`m throwing the ball like it`s not tired, but when you see the velocity go down a couple miles per hour, that`s a pretty good indication of what`s going on.
It was 2-0 on the catcher and I didn`t want to walk him. I made a bad pitch and he jumped on it. I had to take that chance, because I knew Ichiro [Suzuki] was coming up behind him, and I didn`t want to put him on base.
