Yesterday`s race was a really big learning curve for me. I made a lot of rookie mistakes. Going home last night, I thought about a lot of things that I could change, and instead of looking, watching and learning today, I was actually racing. It was great.
One of the great things about my resume is that a lot of opportunities to try different things pop up. I feel honored that someone would ask me to race a $250,000 truck when it`s not really my sport.
James has a lot of fans. Maybe some African-American people didn`t like our sport so much because it was dominated by White people, but now the demographics, with James in there, it`s mixed up. I think it`s great.
It is what it is. It`s disappointing, of course. To be honest the jump is a lot different. To me nobody went very far before we were out. I think they need to get a better jump next year.
